Luigi Gatti nella vita musicale della Chiesa mantovana

The study aims to highlight musical activities in the principal churches of Mantua (the Cathedral, Palatine basilica of Santa Barbara, Sant’Andrea, and the major monasteries) while also establishing Gatti’s role within this context. It is, therefore, not simply an in-depth investigation into his presence in Santa Barbara (the best-known church of the city), but also explores his contribution to other ecclesiastical institutions, both of which will help give a more complete picture of Gatti’s formation and artistic development.
