Polish violinist and composer Michał Urbaniak is one of the most representative European jazz-rock musicians in the early Seventies. The improvised violectra cadence in “Ekim”, part of the album Enactin which gave the violinist international attention, is here analysed. The investigation shows some peculiar features of his creativity, i.e. large-scale coherence and structural development of motivic cells. These stylistics aspects, in the context of Audiotactile Theory, identify the relevant traits of visual cognitivity, in the larger field of audiotactile formativity.
